PBS News Hour Broadband Series
Quick note: I discuss broadband networks on the PBS News Hour today (Thursday.) They’re doing a three-part series on the state of U. S. broadband with a lot of focus on Chattanooga, Tennessee, so I put things in perspective. The segment was taped (there aren’t any satellite uplinks in Chattanooga,) so a lot of stuff ended up on the cutting room floor, but it was still a pretty nice chat. They’re doing some interesting things in Chattanooga, but most of it doesn’t require super-fast networks.
It’s good to see coverage of broadband on the evening news regardless.
